Prep 1: Engage the Right Cleaning Service
Before your actual cleaning schedule, do check with the cleaning company that you have engage the right cleaning service for the job. The last thing you want is to have the cleaners arrived but failing to bring the right chemicals and tools for your cleaning task.
In our years of cleaning, we have gotten customers engage us for other cleaning services only to realise that the service required is different. This may result in cleaners failing to bring the right tools and chemicals which will result in compromising your cleaning services which we want to avoid.
Prep 2: Empty Your Space
Having worked with thousands of tenants for their end of tenancy cleaning, we get alot of tenants still having items in the cabinets and fridge when we walk through the unit before we start our cleaning. It is important to to clear these items before cleaning as our cleaners, if not instructed, will avoid cleaning the specific cabinets with items or fridge, with food in it, to avoid misunderstanding.
The last things we want is to accidentally dispose your personal items and having to be for which would not be good for both parties.
Prep 3: Moving of Furniture & Personal Belongings
For tenants engaging our cleaning services, we have experience some tenants requesting us to assist in moving their personal belongings and furniture. Although we wouldn’t mind assisting with moving of items in most cases, our personal experience have been that if the furniture or personal belong was broken during the moving process, our cleaners are to be blamed. This would be unfair to our cleaners as they are hired for cleaning and not movers for moving your items.
In the event that our cleaners do assist you with moving your personal items and furniture, please do show some form of appreciation as moving of furniture and personal items is beyond their job scope and doing it, was out of good will.
